DOUBLE-PAGE SPREAD!!

This page was TWO tons of fun to draw! I actually had to pull back from the temptation to add even more debris, more spray paint, more motion lines, more STUFF to this page. It's a tug-of-war between wanting to convey the chaos of the moment, and wanting to convey that moment with clarity. I think I found a good balance.

The pose of Steamroller Man holding Paige was a tricky one to draw, I'm not gonna lie! I tried a few different poses, actively avoiding this type of pose - to be honest it seemed a bit clichéd because it's been used by lots of comic artists - but hey, I guess the reason for that is that it works! I used the 3D figure models included in Clip Studio Paint EX to make a reference pose for my drawing, which made things a LOT easier!
